Wearable Art Mandurah 2017 – Judging Day

I attended another fantastic Wearable Art Mandurah judging day yesterday. The excitement and anticipation grows each year. I love the chance to catch up with the friends I have made through this competition and it’s the day you have the first opportunity to see many of the other amazing garments designers have entered. Here is a link to some images in the Mandurah Mail.Make upAway from the studio, you see your own garment at its best. I was very fortunate to have the gorgeous Amy model for me and Duvah’s hair and makeup team did a beautiful job. 1. Absolutely stunning Louise! The train looks great – the daisies stand up well and I imagine they will “wobble” deliciously as the model crosses the stage. Will look just like a light spring breeze. The title is good too because of the everlasting nature of the recycled materials you’ve used. Genius, and a winner in my book 🙂

  2. It looked fabulous and created lots of oohs and arghs down the passageways.
A beautifully crafted creation. Well done Louise.
