What Light Shines Through #2 is in the Ellenbrook Art Award which opened on friday night at Ellenbrook Gallery,

34 Main Street, Ellenbrook, WA, 6069

Gallery opening hours:

10am – 2pm on weekdays, 1pm – 5pm on weekends until 7 June 2015

My friend Anne Williams won a Highly Commended for her gorgeous baskets.

CASM4CASM3CASMAnd finally, Last Post was in the WAFTA members exhibition, Memory and Commemoration at the Perth Quilt and Craft fair which finished on sunday.Last Post installedHopefully this exhibition will be on display at other locations to allow people more opportunities to see these wonderful works.

I get tired just thinking about the idea of putting work in 3 exhibitions that are on at the same time 🙂 I haven’t seen the Ellenbrook Art Awards yet so I can’t comment on that but I hope the WAFTA Memory and Commemoration exhibition is shown in other venues as there are some significant works in that exhibition.

    • It is just coincidence that they were all on at the same time…The submission dates are the important part and what I work to, they were all staggered March, early and mid May.
