Exhibition Season

It all happens at once…after months and months and months of working in the studio…in one 24 hour period my work is on show in three different exhibitions!

The much anticipated twentyONE+ opened Friday night with nearly 200 people helping celebrate this beautifully curated exhibition. Jan Mullen our team captain has described our week of install perfectly here. A great insight to the process. Next was The Quilt and Textile Study Group talk about Common Threads Wearable Art at CASM on Saturday afternoon. Barb Thoms inspiring members to take up the challenge in 2017.

and Saturday night (looking a little tired) at Lawley Art Auction. Another large crowd, this time mostly our local community supporting the Mt Lawley SHS SVAPA (Special Visual and Performing Arts program)

Josh Wells also had a stunning photograph for auction Bologna – Winding DownJosh with work

Sunday we (Steve and younger son Callum bribed encouraged to attend via hint of a cafe after) visited the lovely “Affinity: A Close Connection” exhibition at Zig Zag Gallery The exhibition celebrates the latest works of four artist friends – Helen Jones, Irene McBride, Pam Manika and Glennis Hall.

And a last minute addition…I have just received the beautiful video of Shannon White performing “Say Something” at the 2016 Common Threads Wearable Art Showcase

  1. You work so hard and always striving to greater things. Keep it up. You’re amazing as is your artwork. Congratulations.
