Sculpture by the Sea

Stunning autumn weather and with a few spare hours on Saturday we made our annual trip to Cottesloe Beach to see Sculpture by the Sea. This year we visited late in the afternoon (which means fortunately, the sand is not burning hot as you walk from artwork to artwork).

It was perfect weather for a refreshing swim at this most lovely of beaches. Gentle rolling waves…

Sculpture by the Sea returns to Cottesloe Beach, Perth, Western Australia. 70 local, interstate and international artists will transform Perth’s most popular beach into a stunning sculpture park overlooking the Indian Ocean with some of the most glorious sunsets of any major city in the world.   1. We’re going one day this week – my photos won’t be nearly as good as yours – is it OK with you if I just forward your blog to my US connections who are all still FREEZING! this might be just what they need – to make them feel better!
